Neglect

These photographs were part of my A-level project last year. I was given the word 'transitions' and decided to go down the path of the neglect of buildings and places, to show the transition of time and what it does to a place that is left. Out of all the work I have done, it is this subject that interests me most. I find the imperfections of a place or building a lot more interesting and unique.

The below was taken in an abandoned house in Epsom, the house was badly fire damaged but still had character, it was pretty awsome to look round.

The bottom is one of my favorite photographs, It is taken in West Park asylum in Epsom last year, again the building was badly fire damaged and I was fortunate enough to get into part of the building, it was one of the most interesting places I have visited with a lot of character and history.
